In this 8 episode series we will take a Lutheran, grace-filled approach to learning about theological and social topics that matter in our lives as civically and morally engaged Christians. The first three episodes will cover important theological ideas that are foundational for Lutherans: the Sacraments, scripture and biblical interpretation, and sin and suffering. The following five episodes will build on that theological foundation to consider some of the social topics that seem to be ever-present in the news, politics, and culture: government and civic life, Christian Nationalism, abortion, education, and economic life.
