This is a story of mystery and wonder, being guided by stars and dreams. And it is also a story of heartbreak and violence and the kind of world that Jesus was born into. As we hear this story today, we are invited to wonder about how we might search for Jesus amid the mystery, wonder, heartbreak, and violence of our own lives.
