Listen "60: So Weird"
Episode Synopsis
On today’s episode, we’ll be going back to one of Disney Channel’s first original series, their very first show to be shot in 16:9, So Weird. Shot in Vancouver, British Columbia, this American-Canadian urban paranormal drama centers a teenage girl who, along with her brother and their friends, encounters and solves paranormal mysteries while touring with her rockstar mom. Often dubbed by critics as “X-Files for kids,” this series was certainly different from anything that Disney had done before or since. So what made So Weird so intriguing? Stay tuned!
