Did you ever want to work in the movie business? This interview is for you. David Winning had a dream as a child. His father bought him a movie camera and the rest is history. His love, curiosity, and persistence have led to a 40-year career as a director, with 46 feature films and 29 series under his belt.
He is a generous, fun-loving person who enjoys his career. Each movie is a challenge to make it great, entertaining, and remembered.
We include a 4-minute Director's Reel of his incredible movies. His debut feature Storm was produced by him in his 20s, learning as he went, instead of going to film school. That movie was picked up after 170 rejections. And led him to his next series, Friday the 13th, almost 40 years ago.
