In the midst of the storm, God extends His grace toward us.  1 Jn 4:17 NKJ, “Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world.”  Like the prodigal, our own attitudes and actions may have caused a difficult situation, “But God is so rich in mercy, and He loved us so much, …He gave us life when He raised Christ from the dead. …and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us…” Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭4‬-‭7‬ ‭NLT‬‬
