About Alex Hendrickx:
Alexander Hendrickx is a Belgian field hockey player who currently plays as a defender for the Belgian national team and the Dutch club HC Bloemendaal. Hendrickx began his hockey career at a young age and quickly rose to become one of the best players in the country.
Alexander Hendrickx has achieved numerous accolades throughout his illustrious career in field hockey. He played a pivotal role in Belgium's historic victory at the 2018 World Cup, where he was the top scorer of the tournament with seven goals and was named the player of the tournament. In addition to winning the World Cup, he also helped Belgium win a silver medal at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and a bronze medal at the 2019 European Championship.
Hendrickx's success in the Dutch Hockey League is also noteworthy, as he has won multiple championships with HC Bloemendaal. In 2020, he was named the best player in the league and helped his team win the championship. He has also won several individual awards, including the 2018 FIH Rising Star of the Year award and the Belgian Hockey Player of the Year award in 2019 and 2020.
