About Srinath Narayanan
Srinath Narayanan who is currently the Head Coach of Indian National Men’s Team of Chess. He has been a coach of the Indian team since 2018. A grandmaster in chess from Chennai, Srinath, is a former Under 12 World Champion and a 3-times Asian Junior Champion. At an early age, Srinath moved on from playing to coaching, where he has coached prodigies like Nihal Sarin, Arjun Erigaisi and Divya Deshmukh along the way. Under Srinath as coach, India won gold in online Olympiad in 2020, Bronze in 2021, and most recently, Silver in Asian Games 2022.
