We are blessed to sit and chat with John Rooney in his home in Mulranny, Co. Mayo. Originally from Coolock in Dublin John met the love of his life, his wife Mary, on Achill Island and has been out west with her ever since. A singer, actor, teacher and self-proclaimed jack of all trades, John reflects on a his life from being born in his grandfathers bedroom, to being in recovery, to now living with end stage heart disease. John remains grateful for the life he has lived.
