Listen "59. Healing the Wounds of Assimilation with Brand Strategist Camila Cardozo"
Episode Synopsis
In this episode I interview my mastermind sibling Camila Cardozo, who is a brand strategist and content producer for conscious entrepreneurs and brands. Camila has such deep and beautiful insight about the power of authenticity. Because that’s what’s at the core of a personal brand: authenticity, your voice, your experience, and your power.
We also talked about the ways in which assimilation has caused us collective wounds and the ways in which being authentic can help heal those wounds, and what steps you can take today to develop your personal brand and land your next job.
About today's guest:
Camila Cardozo is a brand strategist and content producer for conscious entrepreneurs and brands.Growing up as a first generation Colombian, code switching and changing her authentic self was her norm. By virtue of being from a different culture, she got very comfortable hiding her true self and compromising her realness for the sake of survival. But hiding her authentic self in all aspects of life was keeping her broke and lonely. When she decided to embrace ALL parts of her humanity, everything else started to click.
