Here at The Family, we trust science.  Well, some science.  There was a time when miasma theory was science.  We don't trust that.  And it can be difficult, if not impossible, to predict what today's science is tomorrow's pseudoscience.  That's why it's safest to stick to what we know: if you combine an old shirt and some wheat, mice will appear out of thin air.  Yes, that was a real theory at one point.
