Tom's been in showbiz for a while.  This statement is true regardless of which Tom we're talking about.  It's no coincidence, then, that they both agree on many things.  For example, it used to be a lot better, and not just because it was the era of Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., David Letterman, and other legends.  The attitude was friendlier back then, and to make things worse, the modern animosity is all artificial.  There's no reason for it.  Well, easy come, easy go.  Maybe it'll easy go one day.
