Space.  The final frontier.  For aliens, I mean.  Not for us.  We'll be stuck here forever.  That's why the idea of being visited by aliens is so interesting.  It's the last hope most of us have for contact with the rest of the universe.  Of course, depending on who you ask we've had contact for hundreds, maybe thousands of years.  The truth is out there.  And it's also in Martin's book.
