Listen "Make Believe - #2378"
Episode Synopsis
Everyone has their own version of escapism. As children, we play with dolls or cars. Then as we get older, it's wrestling, video games, and playing pretend. As adults, we have movies and TV. In the past, these things were all separate. Not any more. Now we have movies about toys, movies about video games, video games about wrestling, and wrestlers in movies about pretend cars. And soon everything will become one: make-believe AI-generated people pretending to play a video game that doesn't exist about a toy line that also doesn't exist. At that point, we fully expect that going outside and playing with rocks will become suddenly very popular.
