Listen "S5EP23"
Episode Synopsis
In Ecclesiastes 1:12 - 2:16, the author goes on a quest to find 'what is good to do in life' through the topic of pleasure, wisdom and folly. He reaches the conclusion that everything under the sun is like 'chasing after the wind'. Join Candy and Sam as they tackle your questions, including:
- In chapter two, the teacher 'kept his wisdom through his experiments'(ch2v3). What does that mean?
- Is the teacher sinning while he was experimenting the pleasures of life (i.e. chp2v8). How does God not have a problem with this and why is the teacher not rebuked for this?
- Based on William Blake's quote shared about not clinging on to things in life too hard, do you agree with the statement 'this is life, just accept it and live one day at a time.'? Is there more to life than that?
