Matthew 21:1-27
In his Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem, Jesus declares his reign of peace by riding a donkey, symbolically contrasting the expectations of a conquering Messiah with his actual rule and reign and disrupts the temple’s commercial practices, proclaiming it as a “house of prayer for all nations” and healing the marginalized, while challenging the corrupt religious authorities.
