Dr. Jyme Nichols from Bluebonnet Feeds truly shows her heart for helping owners and the important topics that affect equine nutrition. This is such an important topic that we as riders, trainers, and owners need to learn more about as there is a lot of misinformation in today's digital world from people who claim to be equine nutrition experts, but don't actually have the credentials to make informed decisions about a horse's feeding plan. It is also important that we understand these nutrition concepts because the more we as owners can be informed about it the better the equine industry will be as a whole for animal welfare and proper, responsible horse care.I learned so much from our conversation, not only some new terms like what NSC stands for, but also what I should be looking for in creating a feeding plan for my own horse and more.
