Episode Synopsis

Trenten Merrill (@trentenmerrill) is a two-time paralympian for Team USA. On March 30th, 2005, Trenten was hit by car. A short time after the accident, doctors told Trenten they were going to have to amputate his lower left leg. Since that day, Trenten has overcome much adversity, qualifying for the USA paraolympic team in both 2016 & 2020. In the 2020 Tokyo Games, he placed third in the long-jump, earning him a bronze medal for Team USA. He currently holds the US record for the long jump amongst para-athletes.

In this episode, Trenten discusses his journey from not knowing what he wanted to do after high school to winning a bronze medal in the 2020 Tokyo games. We also talked in much detail about the different tactics and approaches he has taken with his nutrition .
