Episode Synopsis

It is one thing to tell others how to live their lives according to the Truth Who is Jesus, but we too must live out OUR lives in this same way. What goes on in the secret of our hearts is always known to Jesus. What is silent in our hearts and goes maybe unknown to others, Jesus knows. As the silent presence of God is immersed into who we are, we become more aware and are convicted in our own heart in those times where we know we have fallen short of what God is calling us to. For me, now spending more time with God, this produces a hurt…an ache that is unlike what I felt earlier in my spiritual life. There is a connection with the presence of God that goes beyond words yet produces a response deep within my soul. More now than ever, when I am tempted to not practice what I preach, I can hear His voice in the silence of my soul saying, What AM I calling you to do David? When we speak of “being convicted”, it refers to a deeply held belief that we have strayed away from. These convictions always correct me and then point me to the sacrament of reconciliation - back to the love of the Father.
