Hello and welcome to day 3 on The Power of Silence. The word for today is discover. Webster defines discover as “the action or process of finding/locating/uncovering” something. How do we discover God in the silence of our heart? Well, let me answer that question with another question; How do you discover a friend? You would spend time with them, getting to know them, their likes/dislikes, what their hobbies are and what the two of you have in common. This creates a bond between the two of you and the longer you spend time together the more you will discover interesting facts about your new friend. So, that is how we discover God in our hearts. We do that by discovering God in the Sacraments by attending Mass, Adoration, Reconciliation. We discover God and who his Son is through his Word, in Scripture and prayer. We discover God through community when we love our neighbor as ourselves. Word of the Day is "Discover"
