If you’re new to mediation and relaxation, take it slowly. If you feel dizzy or emotionally overwhelmed, gently stop. Switch to grounding practices like focusing on your hands or feet, opening your eyes. It’s okay to stop or pause. After meditating, don’t jump up or rush into activity. Gently move fingers, stretch, or take a sip of water. Let your nervous system adjust.
