And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. - Hebrews 11:6 The Christian life is a life of faith. The only way to please the Lord is to live by faith. No matter what you do or how hard you try to live the Christian life, it simply won't work if it's not lived in faith.  Without faith, you stand alone, trusting in your strength and wisdom. When you live by faith, you walk in the favor and blessing of God, in fellowship with Him, and your life is pleasing to the Lord.
