Listen "Well Done Good and Faithful Servant - Part 6D"
Episode Synopsis
The Jews were the physical descendants of Abraham through Isaac, Jacob and Jacob’s twelve sons.
God had promised Abraham that his descendants would rule from both realms of the kingdom, a promise which was repeated to both Isaac and Jacob−Gen. 22:17; 26:2-5; 28:13-15.
The Lord kept His Word and delivered the Israelites from Egypt−Ex. 14:30.
Upon their deliverance, they sang a praise song to the Lord acknowledging His triumph, His strength, His salvation over their enemies−Ex. 15.
After leaving Egypt, the Israelites suffered amnesia concluding that Moses brought them out of Egypt to kill them with hunger in the wilderness even though they knew why the Lord had told brought them out of Egypt! They craved the diet served in Egypt but forgot their oppression while there!
Sadly, the Israelites rejected manna over time and in so doing, they had rejected God Himself and this act of unfaithfulness on their part caused them to make their pilgrim journey in darkness.’ Although they ate the ‘now modified’ manna, the goal of their journey was far-removed from them−Joh. 6:49, 58.
A negative attitude towards God and His divine provision of manna was a CHOICE by the Israelites to hide their talent/mina and it cost them entry into the Promised Land, the purpose of their redemption from Egypt−Deut. 1:34-36.
