Well this is certainly an episode that I’ve been waiting for and I’m sure some of you have too!  I was delighted to get some precious time with Lisa Dodd Mayne - Sport England's Executive Director of Place. 

This is a fascinating insight, not only to Sport England,
but also Lisa‘s background and how she overcame adversity and disappointment very early on in her burgeoning career and the values that drive her to this day. We go on to talk about the progress of Uniting the Movement and how and
why Sport England are putting their investment only where people need it the most.

We also discuss progress on the Future of Public Leisure
report and why the big strategic facilities fund is probably not going to be the way forward in future. We also touch on the new report from CLOA calling for an Active Well-being Service and why Lisa thinks it's an absolute nobrainer.
