As usual, the IT industry thinks that having validation schemes, the equivalent to putting gold star stickers on people's foreheads, will somehow solve it. The bad guys just shrug and sign up for the validation schemes and keep on scamming.In reality, the ONLY THING that can EVER stop social scams is AWARENESS.
