Your hosts, John Cox and Steve Boynton, retell the story of the making of the Champlin Ice Forum, a controversial public works project built in the the mid-1990's.  The project resulted in the defeat of the entire City Council in 1996 as the ice arena was not supported by a majority of residents and the building's cost came in several times more than preliminary estimates.Mayor Ryan Sabas joins Steve and John to share his memories of the Champlin Ice Forum's early days and provide an update on the City's Mississippi Crossings Redevelopment plans.
