Coach Blake Talley is the current head baseball coach of the Grissom Tigers. After graduating from Buckhorn High School in 2012, Blake went on to play baseball at Calhoun Community College then went on to finish his career with the University of North Alabama Lions. After graduation Blake jumped into the coaching world pretty quick. In his first year as a head coach at Scottsboro High School, Coach Talley lead the wildcats to the state playoffs. After that season Coach Blake Talley was named the Grissom High School baseball coach at just 25. In this weeks episode we talk landing his first head coaching job, how technology has changed the game of baseball, influencing young kids, being a man of faith in a public school setting, and as always faith, family, community, and giving back.
