Throughout July, Old Fashioned Sunday School features presentations by or about our many Cathedral Outreach partners. Our relationships with these partners help us to reach out in love to others, build community, “seek the welfare of the city” (Jeremiah 29:7), and engage in the ministry of reconciliation and restoration with some of our most vulnerable neighbors.This Sunday, July 7, our speaker is Catrina D. McAfee, Executive Director of LaAmistad, an organization whose mission is to prepare Latino students and families for success through academic and life enrichment programs. The Cathedral hosts a LaAmistad afterschool tutoring program for students from Garden Hills Elementary School Monday–Thursday throughout the academic year. Deacon Juan Sandoval introduces Cat.
