Today we speak with Sharon Davis who is a philanthropy professional, volunteer, and women’s advocate. Sharon is the Chair of Vancouver’s Room to Read Chapter. Room to Read is a global non-profit organization that focuses on working in collaboration with local communities, partner organizations and government to improve literacy and gender equality and education world wide. Before joining Room to Read, Sharon was Vice President of Scotia Capital. Currently, she is also the Co-Founder of her own consulting agency, Giving Well. Educating individuals and businesses on strategies on effective philanthropy.
