For that matter, Ruth has done more than she needed to! She didn’t need to stay with her mother-in-law and come to another country, but she intentionally made herself an outsider to stay with Naomi. Hospitality isn’t doing the letter of the law, it’s going the extra mile. We are called to give more than enough to ensure the safety, security, welcome, and inclusion of others – even if they might never return the favor
