Episode 042: In today's episode, we'll discuss the importance of embracing the full spectrum of our thoughts, feelings and sensations--not just the comfortable ones. As one of my mentors Brooke Castillo of the Life Coach School says often, life is 50:50. When we put pressure on ourselves to feel positive or happy all the time, then we're not embracing reality. That just leads to more pain and suffering in the long term. It takes approximately 90 seconds to allow an uncomfortable emotions to pass through you like a wave. When we embrace all facets of ourselves, then we can model this level of embodiment for our patients which will in turn help them to do the same.
