Wandile's work is a groundbreaking effort to address the enduring legacies of apartheid on South African society. By creating non-physical homes for companies and institutions through innovative anti-racist tools, he is fighting to end the systemic racism that continues to plague workplaces and other areas of society. His approach to diversity, equity, and inclusion is informed by the lived experiences of black South Africans, who have been historically excluded from opportunities and denied justice.

He is the CEO of Ubuntu Design Group and Ubuntu Architecture Summer Abroad Design Justice School, where he is committed to empowering inadequately sheltered families to overcome the social and economic challenges that apartheid has wrought. Through innovative and collaborative architectural designs, he is creating a future vision of their homes and communities that is rooted in justice and equity.
