Welcome to back to the Bridgeton Beacon for "Seabrook at War", a historical narration by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. We'd like to thank the NJ Historical Commission for usage rights.
This production tells the story of Seabrook, New Jersey during World War II. The small town was home to many soldiers and military personnel who fought in the war. In this program, you will hear first-hand accounts from those who lived through the experience, including Seabrook family members and interned Japanese citizens who worked for the farms during WWII.
