Episode Synopsis
A sample film clip from one of the films in the Bradshaw Foundation's iLecture Series. 'Easter Island', made in conjunction with archaeologist Dr Georgia Lee, the leading expert on Easter Island and Rapa Nui culture, the film not only investigates the island's unique giant Moai statues, it also explores the often unmentioned yet highly extensive and sophisticated rock engravings and paintings. The film reveals how the different art forms reflected the changing culture of the island, a culture that came to the brink of extinction.
