Episode Synopsis

In a fashion befitting Fixed Earth, this Taurus Season episode covers a lot of ground and, if nothing, else is sure to get you up and shakin' your booty. Not only will we do the usual rundown of our monthly archetype, but we'll dig into the groovy soul and funk of Taureans Stevie Wonder and James Brown, while also lightening the mood with a bittersweet ballad of requited love brought on by a lack of perceived funds from my personal mid-spring house band, the Grateful Dead, with one of their excellent covers of the standard, "Peggy-O" from their phenomenal May 1977 run.

We'll also have a chat about what having the nodes of the moon in the Taurus-Scorpio axis is inviting us to pay attention to. In short, get grounded, be sensual and focus on self-sufficiency. We live in an abundant Universe says Taurus season and, if you're like me and you simply love getting out and about in these days, with all the flowers blooming and bodacious bees buzzing around, it's hard to deny that fact.

I'll also read a blog from Monika Harris  titled “The Real Reason Why We’re Moving to a Cashless Society” because with Uranus conjunct this weekend's solar eclipse in Taurus while squaring Saturn, it won't be any surprise to us astrologically aware folk if we see some pretty shocking changes to our financial systems, if not in the next week or two, within the next six to 14 months. But you'll have to listen to the podcast to understand why I used that time frame.

And last, just when you might think things are getting a bit heavy, we'll close the show by getting our trucker Jacques/Jock back on-line to follow up with some burning questions, such as just how does this particular Jacques/Jock spell his name, and what his predictions are for the AI truck drivers when they hear the Dead’s “Dark Star” as they are out roaming the roads. It could spell the end of civilization, folks!

Fortunately, this podcast won't end civilization---at least not yet, so if you make it to the end there's one more surprise Taurean musical guest who I put on as a tribute to one of my favorite Taurean friends and also to recognize the notion of "cuspers," those people born as a sign is changing. As I said it's a packed episode, with probably more music than I've ever shared on a show, so put on your dancing shoes, or, better yet, take off your shoes and find a grassy field somewhere, and let's feel the beat of Taurus season!
