Listen "Building a Practice Around What Matters with Dr. Maggie Law"
Episode Synopsis
How do people do it all? Run a practice, raise babies, and still make it to every school performance?
Dr. Maggie Law makes it look easy, but she’ll be the first to tell you it’s anything but.
In this episode, we talk about what it actually takes to grow a practice that works for your life, not the other way around. Maggie shares how she opened her doors just days before the 2020 shutdown, how she’s learned to lead without guilt, and why she built her team culture around trust, flexibility, and family.
She’s honest, funny, and full of the kind of perspective that makes you exhale and remember, you’re allowed to do this differently.
"One day, my kids won’t need me like this, and my business will still be there. I can always work more when they’re older, but I can’t work less now. I can’t go back."
We talk about:– What it means to be the default parent and a practice owner– Why she never charges extra for clear braces (and never will)– Building a team culture where taking PTO isn’t a big deal– Letting go of people-pleasing and asking for help
This one’s heartfelt, refreshing, and a good reminder that you don’t have to choose between leadership and life—you can build something that holds both.
