In this episode, I go deep with my friend and talented improviser, writer. journalist and director Wallace McKelvey embark on a spontaneous and engaging conversation, devoid of a predetermined script, delving into the vibrant realms of creativity and performance. Wallace shares how improv and creativity has given him opportunities to play and have fun. I share about my recent productions at the Fringe Festival, where I performed in no less than 11 shows, I shares my exhilaration and exhaustion from juggling multiple performances and commitments, shedding light on her relentless passion for the arts.
Wallace and I are original members of The Offbeats: An Improvised Musical Experience that's had a residency at the Harrisburg Improv Theatre since 2019. 
The discussion navigates through the intricacies of living a creative life, highlighting the improvisational spirit that we both embrace. We delve into the importance of trust and collaboration in improv, the liberation that comes from stepping out of comfort zones, and how these artistic endeavors have woven a tapestry of community and growth.
