This past Sunday, we had the second to last part of the Ripple Effect sermon series. Luke delivered the fourteenth instalment, which was titled "What I've Learned About Making Ripples."

Luke spoke about how the Bible can guide us in making ripples that lead to others salvation. In 1 Peter 3:13-15, Peter wrote about not being scared to do good, even when faced with opposition. Although we may not be in danger like Christians in India, we still face resistance from the world, the devil, and our own desires. Unfortunately, for the past 100 years, the church has been comfortable and wealthy, which has made many of us think that sharing our faith isn't important. Luke identified that our biggest barrier preventing us from sharing our faith is being too busy, which is something we often choose to be. We need to stop thinking about it and just do it! Let's allow God's story to shape our story and invite others to join us in making ripples that can lead to salvation.
