Messiah’s Kingdom: A Home Prepared for His Own

Main Text: John 14:2-3
“In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

Introduction:

This world is not our home. The followers of Jesus Christ—those born of the Spirit—are not rooted in this temporary life. We are sojourners, pilgrims, and ambassadors of a coming Kingdom. While we live here, our eyes are set on something far greater: a Kingdom prepared by our Messiah—a place of eternal glory and perfect peace.
