He started his career as an intern at the College of Dental Sciences in 2008. In 2009, he worked as a graduate assistant at the UAB School of Dentistry, and also served as a supervisor at the UAB School of Public Health. In 2012, he joined the University at Buffalo's School of Dental Medicine as a materials research dentist.
