Thoughts create feelings in our bodies, agitation, stress, anger, joy, sadness. And for most of us the feelings will last in the physical body longer than the thoughts stay in our head. I had a massive wake up recently when I released that a bad feeling was about to send me back into a loop of shitty thinking that I had completely forgotten about and it made me see how often we unwittingly cause ourselves unnecessary pain!
