Record & Results to Date• Record so far: 7-1 overall, 5-0 in the Southeastern Conference (SEC). So Alabama has recovered nicely from the early loss and is undefeated in conference play so far.• After the tough opener, the Tide have reeled off seven straight wins, showing resilience. • Strong showings SEC: wins over Georgia, Vandy, Tennessee, Missouri, & South Carolina • Offense has had some big games: Scoring 34 pts per game & 31 per game as mean. • Defense, at times, stepped up in big moments — for example in the South Carolina game, they forced a key late fumble that flipped the script. Bend, but don’t Break._ Areas of Concern / What to Watch Getting gashed on big, explosive plays and poor schemes. That leaves less margin for error going forward. Total offense: 2,263 yards (pass + rush) on 312 plays → ~7.25 yards/play. Ty Simpson is the Star and leader of the Team. The story for Bama so far is Ty Simpson leading this team. And he will be the reason Bama makes the playoffs, wins the SEC, and wins the natty. All on his shoulders. Jam Miller and Daniel Hill are the top two RB’s. Been effective as all-purpose RB’s, but not stand-outs as pure runners. Germie Bernard is the WR 1. This group is talented with Ryan Williams, Zah Horton, Lotzeir Brooks, and Rick Scott all contributing and have success and making big plays. Josh Cuevas is a standout as tight-end and is having a great season. 11 players have made significant contributions in the passing game. For the O-line, Brailsford is the only one playing at an A level in and game out. Proctor – good, not great. The others are up and down. 14 Sacks -- too many sacks occurring and usually from poor O-line play Ty Simpson’s ability to scramble and run and make plays under pressure has bailed out the O-line this year. Defense - Bend, but don’t break. Getting key turnovers in the redzone or in key moments.
