In the first WampCast of the school year, Shannon and Maria interview Lauren Kaye. Over the summer, Lauren, with other Braintree Alumni started a group called "A Better Braintree". Through a petition on change.org, the "A Better Braintree" group led an initiative to change the Braintree High Mascot. As a result, Braintree High School will no longer be using Native American imagery, but the "Wamp" nickname remains.
