A longtime of friend the original Media Maven herself, Sarah Miller, Simmons has worked across numerous mediums throughout of her career, holding positions in companies like CNET, AOL LLC and serving as the Head of Global Partner Marketing at Google Play. Most recently, she has been focused on LookyLoo’s main project: an A.I. named Lucy which serves as a personalized stylist, purposed to navigate the data of individuals to help them to find their best outfits for all occasions and seasons. “For something as subjective as ‘what looks good’, it’s actually a much more complex question than we could ever think of” Lin-Simmons said, explaining how the A.I. can base “what looks good” off context, age, body shape, size and conscious/unconscious biases.
