Listen "TITHING! Which Man?"
Episode Synopsis
TITHING Unto Which Man Does The Commandment Applies The New Or The Old The Holy Spirit moveth within me as a light and as a guide Apostle White For they compel you to tithe by commandment, of which they say is supported by the following scripture. "Will a man rod God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it." (Malachi 3:8-10) Do they not know? Do they not understand or consider unto whom the prophet speaks: And at what time, and under which priesthood the event of what he says applies? As for they who preach tithing, is it not because of their lust? For desire of gain they wilfully close their eyes to the truth of the mystery of the new man in Christ, against seeking the right path for their souls. For the people unto whom the prophet spake concerning their conduct of robbing God were those that served under a priestly order that instituted many carnal ordinances, including tithing, of which order was done away at the arrival of the Sacrificial Lamb. Have ye no knowledge concerning the marvellous performance of Christ priestly order of which you yourself profess to having been born into? For the Levitical priesthood and that of Christ doeth not attach themselves in no wise, seeing how the former is carnal and the latter spiritual. For when that which is carnal was in effect, even he that administered the office of priest had to offer sacrifice for his own sins as well as for those of the people, but now after the triumphal victor of Christ, the high priest of God, such offering is no longer the case. For the priesthood of which we are now become is established upon the foundation of Christ having obtained the victory over sin and death, and he being raised from the grave doeth reign a high priest continually in eternal glory. Seeing how there exist a continual tabernacle abiding in the heavens into which one must enter, even the body of Christ, to render praise unto God: it becomes important then to know by what means doeth one enter therein. For the apostle Paul stated that, "flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God". Now with it being such that flesh and blood cannot enter into the heavenly tabernacle, what we find then to be excluded are all who hold fast to the carnal ordinances that served unto that which was done away, even the levitical priesthood and the ajorning tabernacle. Need it be told thee that the priestly order of Christ is greater in spiritual virtue to the benefit of thy soul over and above that which benefited the flesh. Unto what end subject ye yourselves unto a carnal commandment to tithe rather than to give by the promotion of love. For if by commandment thou think to worship God then what sayeth thine heart unto thee that thou art unable to hear. Doeth it not say that thou art without the spirit of Christ whose testimony is established as having "always did those things which pleased the father", of which things we do know were performed without any type commandment whatsoever. For if the brightness of the knowledge of the glory of Christ causeth resentment within thine heart then know assuredly that thou art kept back from the knowledge of the mystery that have been kept hid from the foundation of the world, but is now being made known unto the royal members of the body of Christ.
