James 2:5 "Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?" There's a lot of carnal pride being taken within different groups of people staking claims of being the chosen people of God. But what they fail to understand is that, even though Jesus' birth was from a particular fleshly lineage, he didn't come for the advancement or advantage of a select bloodline of people. The Bible spells it out very plainly and without any confusion who the chosen people of God are. Now, it's up to each individual to look and see if they are truly part of that chosen group.
