One of the biggest challenges I hear from women entrepreneurs before we get started working together in one of my programs, is they feel like they are working a lot of hours, and are very busy, but are not generating the income they really want from their business. I call this “wheel-spinning.”What are you procrastinating on? Here’s what I know to be true: what you want most, is on the other side of what you resist most. Chances are, the thing that keeps “falling off your list” each day is the very thing that if you do it, will make the biggest difference in your income. 4 Simple Steps to Make More Money in Your Business Step 1. Look at your list of projects. What projects directly lead to generating income in the business? Hint: Look for projects that bring in new leads, convert leads, allow you to earn more on a transaction, generate repeat business, or improve your profit. Pick one.Step 2. Calculate the amount of income your estimate you will earn from successfully completing that project. How much will it mean to your business when it’s done? Step 3. Divide that number by how many hours it will take you to complete the project. That is your time value per hour working on that project. Is it worth prioritizing? Step 4. Block appointments with yourself on your calendar totaling the number of hours it will take you to complete the project.
