Comfort is the enemy of your dreams. Let’s talk about how to get out of your comfort zone and do what you REALLY want to do.What you want most is on the other side of what you resist most. Your Comfort Zone = Resistance to ChangeThe Formula for Change: D x V + FS > RYour level of Dissatisfaction, multiplied by your clarity of Vision for the future, plus your clarity of First Steps…must be greater than your resistance to change. To get out of your comfort zone, you must take action. Feelings follow action, it never works the other way around. If you wait till you feel like taking action, you may find yourself waiting a lifetime. But when you take action, the feelings follow. Take courageous action - and you will begin to feel confident. Your life doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. You are the boss of you. If you find yourself buying a “treat,” over-indulging in a treat, pouring an extra glass, or staying up late scrolling on your phone, you may be attempting to suffer in comfort. Instead, DO something that fills you up emotionally because it gives you the satisfaction that you are moving toward your goals. My Challenge to YouDo something this week that is outside your comfort zone: Go to an event that you wouldn’t normally attend. Ask someone for coffee that you don’t know very well. Pick up the phone and make the call you are hesitating on. Find ways to cut back your bills to free you up to focus on your dream.Push through the discomfort and do the thing.
