Prior to joining WeWork in 2020, Sandeep was a leader in the world of retail real estate during an extraordinary 35+ year career having served as Chief Executive Officer of Brookfield Properties' Retail Group and Vice Chairman of Brookfield Properties; Chief Executive Officer of GGP Inc.; President of Retail for Vornado Realty Trust; and Executive Vice President at Forest City Ratner. Following his 3+ years at WeWork, Sandeep joined Sycamore Partners, a private equity firm, to lead Sycamore's real estate activity. Mr. Mathrani earned a Bachelor of Engineering, a Master of Engineering and a Master of Management Science from Stevens Institute of Technology.
