In this episode, the Accord Team, Rebecca and Naomi, talk about the scripture in Mark 6 v 11 which says "And if any place will not welcome you or listen to you, leave that place and shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them." There are times where we have to shake the dust off our feet and move on from people. We have to make sure that we do this properly, with a correct heart position and that allows us to avoid any negative emotions. Sometimes, it can be hard to see how quickly people drop us, where they don't even stop to shake off the dust, but the process has to be one where we pause, give space for someone to see what we are doing in the hope that the other person sees it, but if they don't then we walk away. God never wants or expects us to stay in abusive relationships, and certainly not to endure that pain in His name.
