Listen "34. How Home Automation Makes Taking Care of Homes Easier for Disabled People"
Episode Synopsis
The term ‘home automation’ was coined in the automobile industry about 1940, to describe the increased use of automatic devices and controls in mechanised production lines. Like many other things, it has continued to grow since the 1990s and the 2000s, and while the creators of some films that have premiered in the last 40 years didn’t get everything right, some noticeable films that have came out which feature home automation include the likes of ‘Back to the Future 2’ and ‘Despicable Me’.In this episode, I summarise the ways home automation makes it easier to complete day to day activities.LINKSOriginal Video: https://youtu.be/_iVSxdaImFoMy Phoebs Lyle Tech Reviews Website: https://pltechreviews.co.uk/My Other Portfolio Website: https://phoebelyle.com/The PL Tech Reviews YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCN3KXB2-z8iisuS1PspjwIAThe Phoebs Lyle Journalism YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCbPQAzDKcmFLwg_m9BAlwgASupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/the-accessible-technology-podcast/donations
